  • electronically save portions of restricted content; and/or
  • print out single copies of portions of restricted content

in each case, subject to any specific restrictions which appear on particular pages of the Website; and in the case of a person who has been granted access on a free trial basis, for only the period of the free trial; and in the case of a lecturer at an institution, for only so long as the relevant OUP textbook remains an adopted text at that institution. 

You may not:

  • remove or alter the copyright notices or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear on the Website;
  • systematically make printed or electronic copies of multiple extracts for any purpose except as permitted by law or as authorised by OUP;
  • display or distribute any restricted content on any electronic network, including without limitation on the Internet and the World Wide Web (other than the institution’s secure network, where the subscriber is an institution);

Suspension and Termination

Where OUP considers a breach of this legal notice has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate including but not limited to: 

withdrawing your access to any or all restricted content hosted on the Website or any portion thereof in the event that it reasonably believes that one, some of all of any portion of the restricted content is being used otherwise than in accordance with this Legal Notice; and/or
