Use the World Bank and GEF databases to learn about sustainable development projects in your home country.

  • On the World Bank site, use the Browse by Country/Area feature.
  • On the GEF site, use the search window, or download the project data and sort by country.

Questions for Writing and Discussion

Write a short description of the range of projects in your country. Exchange your information with a classmate who is studying a different country, and compare the amount and range of projects in the two countries.
