Presenting Your Research
Listed below are alternative ways students could choose to present research aside from the traditional paper. Most of the software/programs are free.
· Story Maps (https://storymaps.arcgis.com/en/). Embedding a story in a map using Geographic Information System.
· Knight Foundation tools (https://knightlab.northwestern.edu/)
· Pictochart. https://piktochart.com/ .Simple software to create complex infographics.
· Padlet. https://padlet.com/. Used more often in K-12, students can create a bulletin board of information, ideas, links.
· Canva. https://www.canva.com/. Simple way to create flyers, brochures, charts, graphs, etc.
· ThingLink. https://www.thinglink.com/. Use and image to create “hot spots” to link to other resources, whether on the web or created by the researcher.
