INSTRUCTIONS: For each thesis statement below, write a set of supporting-idea sentences using words, phrases, and/or clauses contained in the thesis. Use the thesis statement’s topic as the grammatical subject of Sentences 1, 2, and 3. In the answer section, we include suggested responses.
